Beautiful area, gorgeous views. Good place for boaters or fishermen. Only electric hookups, but most sites are modern and spacious. Most campground sections are hilly...especially Point and Senioa, but then they have water views. Valley has a bay a short walking distance across the road to pull your boat up to shore overnight. Past Valley and Point Camp entrances, the road is one way, so you have to go all the way around to go anywhere. Huntingdon is a short drive if you need gas or groceries. A huge camp store is near the entrance to the campground. It is on a large deep, busy lake with about 30 miles of running room. Water skiing and tubing are popular. Two marinas on the lake have restaurants you can pull up and go to. They also have gas available at the docks at the marinas. Nice well maintained campground.

We pulled in and the owners checked us in and took us to our site and offered to help. We asked for firewood and they delivered it to us. They were helpful in knowing what to see and where to go. They drew us maps to everywhere we wanted to go. There's a lookout tower adjacent to the campground following a trail. Sites were spacious and nice. We had water, sewer, and electric. It was rustic but with all your amenities. Couldn't ask for much more. It was close to most of the better sites to see.....Leonard Harrison was almost next door, the main Grand Canyon viewing area. Lake Hammond and Tioga were not far either. It is a beautiful area. Special thanks to the owners for making us feel so at home. I would recommend this campground to anyone. They made it a special experience.
